LinkAja accepts subsidized fuel payments on MyPertamina – LinkAja accepts subsidized fuel payments on MyPertamina , LinkAja, a digital financial service in the form of a digital wallet ( e-wallet ) that supports digitizing the distribution of fuel oil (BBM) targeted subsidies. This is a strategic step for the company in order to realize digital financial inclusion in Indonesia.

“LinkAja fully supports the government’s efforts to ensure that the distribution of subsidized fuel can be right on target and we believe that the process of digitizing the purchase of subsidized fuel can be one solution,” said Yogi Rizkian Bahar, President Director of LinkAja in a statement in Jakarta

As a form of support for the government’s initiative, the company carried out a strategic synergy with Pertamina to become one of the electronic payment methods in the MyPertamina application used to purchase subsidized fuel. Yogi said this was done in order to provide an easier option for non-cash payment methods for the community.

To be eligible, prospective recipients of targeted subsidies must register at subsidy or directly on the MyPertamina application. Furthermore, users will get a QR Code which can then be printed or stored in the MyPertamina application for easier access.

Later when transacting at Pertamina gas stations, users simply show the QR Code to the fuel filling officer and payments can be made in cash or non-cash using MyPertamina.

He revealed that as a company established from the continuous synergy of 10 State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN), facilitating access to non-cash payments at MyPertamina is a concrete proof of the company in uniting Indonesia’s potential.

“However, in its implementation, LinkAja still adheres to the legal principles of fair business competition in accordance with Law Number 5 of 1999 concerning the Prohibition of Monopolistic Practices and Unfair Business Competition,” he said.

Regarding the use of LinkAja as a payment method in the MyPertamina application, if the user already has an account, the users can directly open the MyPertamina application, register and then connect the user’s LinkAja account in the MyPertamina application.

    After entering the LinkAja PIN code, users will receive a verification code via SMS on the registered number and users can practically transact using MyPertamina non-cash. For payments via LinkAja, users are not charged any additional fees.

    Users can also access various attractive promotions, such as restaurant vouchers, gas, unique merchandise , and so on through the My Pertamina application.
